I would like to thank you for your support and encouragement this weekend. It is always special to dive at home; I’m more nervous because I don’t want to disappoint anyone.

I finished with two gold medals, including one in synchro with Reuben Ross. I’m super happy but at the same time, I know I can do better. My goal stays the same: I want to win the gold medal at the Olympic Games in London. It is the only one that I’m missing and I would really like to achieve this step. Each year, the difficulty of the dives increases and evolves. I have to increase my training a notch to make sure I have everything covered.

Thanks again to have come and encouraged us at the CAMO Invitation. Your encouragements made the difference for the Canadian team.

From December 9 to December 12, the Canadian diving team will be in action at the Claude-Robillard complex for the 2010 CAMO Invitation. It’s always a great experience to dive in front of fans, friends and family. Every time, it’s a surprise to see how proud the fans are.

It has been a while since I dove at home and I can’t wait. I’m in top shape and ready for competition. I only have one goal until 2012: be in the best possible physical condition for the Olympic Games. I am giving it my all. After the CAMO Invitation, international competitions will start!

I hope you’ll be able to come check out the competition at Claude-Robillard!

Thank you and talk soon,

I ended the competition the way I started it, the goldish way! With my partner Reuben Ross, we won the gold medal at the synchronised 3-meters. We were both really happy. This medal is adding to the two others I got at the 1-meter and 3-meter. The year ended on a good note and I hope that the next one will be as good as this year.

In this moment, what I’m thinking about is that I’m done and will take a one week vacations; however, we have a lot of work to do before the season begins. I had a super season last year and I want it to stay that way up to the Olympic Games in 2012.

My preparation is pretty much ready and my luggage is almost packed! I’m getting ready for the Commonwealth Games; we are leaving for a training camp in Qatar, and then for India. I feel in top shape; no little injuries and no backache.

We always get there a little earlier for important competitions to give us time to adapt to our destination. We rarely have time to visit because of training and competitions, but I’m still looking forward to discovering India.

We are aware that there are concerns with the installations in Delhi, but we are confident that the right decisions will be made and that everything will be ready. Anyways, our objective is to dive, so that’s what I’m focusing on. I’m really happy to be able to be part of these Games!
