April 28, 2010: Canada Cup in Montreal

Hello everyone,

I’m back to Montreal and in top shape! Last Friday, April 23rd, I had the chance to live an amazing experience. It all began by a celebration of excellence. Lots of athletes, including quite a few who gave the entire country chills because of their amazing athletic performances and their mental toughness, took part in a parade on Ste. Catherine Street. During the evening, I had the pleasure to attend the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame Induction Gala at the Bell Center.

More than 1,200 guests were there to witness the official entry to the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame of kayaker Caroline Brunet, sprinter Bruny Surin, speed skater Susan Auch, Olympic Ambassadors Walter Sieber, Peter Lougheed and Carol Anne Letheren (posthumously) and athletics coach Paul Poce.

Only few days after the closing ceremony surrounding the end of the Olympic cycle, the Canadian National Diving Team is back in action challenging the world’s best divers at the Canada Cup. The competitions is taking place from April 29 to May 2 at Montreal's Olympic pool. Come cheer and support the Canadian team. For more information, visit Canada Cup website.
