Hello everyone,

I’m leaving Mexico at the end of this week to head to England where I’ll continue to focus on training and competitions.

This week, an announcement was made: the Canadian Olympic Committee  has decided to organise a big party to celebrate the success of our athletes during the Olympic Games in Vancouver. The celebrations will take place in Ottawa and in Montreal on April 22^nd and 23^rd. I think it’s a wonderful initiative and a great opportunity for the athletes to thank people for their support and encouragements.

On April 22^nd, more than 200 athletes will be in Ottawa to visit the Prime Minister Harper. Each athlete who won a medal will be receiving a Canadian flag that has floated previously on Parliament Hill. After that, on to Montreal! The athletes will parade on Ste. Catherine Street on April 23, a day to be remembered. It’s a rendez-vous!

On my end, I’ll be competing on Friday and Saturday. I feel ready!
