February 3, 2009: A new synchronized diving partner

Hi everyone,

I have good news: I have a new partner in synchro diving. I’ll now be diving with Reuben Ross.

Before, I used to dive with Arturo Miranda, but as you may have heard, Arturo retired after the Beijing Games. Reuben is from Regina, Saskatchewan and he’s been diving on the national team with me for several years.

I’m really happy to be diving with him. We get along famously! We’ve started training together and it’s going really well. And Arturo is our coach.

Other than that, I’m training really hard these days. I’m getting ready for my first competition since the Olympics. I’ll be taking part in the National Senior Winter Games in Calgary from February 12 to 15.

I’ll tell you all about when I get back.

See you soon,

Alex
