Hi everyone,

I consider myself very lucky to be able to fully live my passion. Training is my job and like in any other job, I have to reach my objectives and work hard to get good results.

Just a few days ago, Cyberpresse and La Presse newspaper in Montreal decided to reward the hard work of Quebec athletes. They developed a list of the 10 athlètes who distinguished themselves during the last decade. They are asking people to vote for the athlete of the decade amongst the following: Martin Brodeur, Caroline Brunet, Éric Gagné, Marc Gagnon, Émilie Heymans, Vincent Lecavalier, David Pelletier, Chantal Petitclerc, Martin St-Louis, and myself. I can’t believe I got to be part of this list.

This type of appreciation is always important. It doesn’t matter if you win or not, just to be amongst such accomplished athletes is really incredible. And to know that there are people behind you, it’s like the pat on the back that helps you surpass yourself and go even further.

I am inviting you to go vote for your favourite athlete on Cyberpresse. The winning athlete will be unveiled in La Presse on Saturday December 26.
