November 20, 2009 : 24 hours of skating for a good cause

Hi,

As you know, I am a Ronald McDonald House Charities ambassador. It’s important to me to do my part for kids and their families. That’s why today I want to talk to you about a great event that will help kids : the 24 heures de glace challenge.

All skating and hockey fans are invited to come skate during 24 hours on February 6 and 7, 2010. McDonald’s and the Montreal Canadiens joined forces to raise funds for Ronald McDonald Houses of Quebec and the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation.

Patrice Brisebois and Maxim Lapierre from the Canadiens will be at the event and there will be a lot more surprises. The event will be at the Complexe sportif Bell, in Brossard. You will have the chance to skate on the same ice as your favourite players.

I invite you to visit the event’s website for all the details: www.24hdeglace.com. I hope a lot of people participate, it’s a good cause!

Get your skates ready,

Alex
