Alexandre is back from the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. As you can see on the picture bellow, a lot of media were there to welcome Alexandre at the Pierre-Eliott Trudeau airport Tuesday night. Alexandre arrived around 6:00 PM and spoke to journalists. He said he was very happy to be back home with a silver medal.

A lot of journalists were waiting for Alexandre at the airport on Tuesday night.

“I really had a difficult year. I started the year with a disappointed place at the FINA World Cup in China, than I had an injury on my back. After, I broke my foot and I missed several weeks of competition. Then, at the Olympic Games, I could have been better in synchro and at the 3m preliminary session. It’s only in finals that I dove very well and performed. So, this silver medal, it worth gold for me,” said Alexandre to the journalists.
