Here we are! It’s the end of our Olympic adventure! We had a very nice trip. It was intense with a lot of different emotions and new discoveries. We woke up at 6:00 AM every day and went back to sleep at midnight.

China is a fascinating country. We did not have the chance to eat a lot of local food. Most of the time, we were eating at the Canada House where the food was very good. However, we could not stay in China without tasting the local speciality: Peking duck. It was delicious!

We also did a lot of shopping! Everything is so inexpensive here! Our luggage is way more full than when we arrived.

In the end, the Canadians athletes gave us a lot of intense moments. We are particularly proud of Alexandre. It is incredible to see that all the effort he put into his sport over the four past years and in the past few months got results. He is leaving China with a silver medal around his neck.
