The 3m springboard final has just finished. Two Canadians were participating in that event: Blythe Hartley, participating in her last Olympic Games, and Jennifer Abel, participating in her very first Olympic competition.

At the end of the competition, only Blythe was able to continue on to the finals tomorrow. She finished tenth. Jennifer almost made it: she finished 13^th but only the 12 first divers continued to the finals. However, it is an excellent performance for this 16-year old diver. We will eagerly follow her career in the coming years.
